How Our Waiting List Works

We are a small home cattery, so we only have a few kittens each year. The waiting list is our gentle way of matching each kitten with the right family. Here is how it works, step by step.

Joining the list

To join, families pay a one-time $50 waiting-list fee. It is not a deposit, and no deposit is needed to join. The fee is non-refundable and does not count toward the kitten price.

When you join, tell us a little about your home and what you hope for in a kitten: boy or girl, color, and temperament. It helps us get to know you.

When a litter arrives

When kittens are born, we contact families in the order they joined the list. Each family gets the chance to pick a kitten or wait for a future litter. We share photos and updates as the kittens grow, so you can watch their personalities come out.

Our current litter from Mlada and Malachite has one boy, Elovite, and he is already reserved. He goes home from late December. If you join now, you will be on the list for a future litter.

Choosing your kitten

When it’s your turn, you pick a kitten, sign the contract and pay the deposit. The deposit, balance and go-home steps are all on How adoption works.

A note on allergies

Please read our allergy note before you join, and visit us first if anyone at home has allergies.

Questions are welcome

Joining the list is the start of a friendship, not just a sale. If you have any questions about the waiting list, we are always happy to hear from you.
